The stakeholder consultation runs between January 24 and March 20, 2012 and covers 18 exemption requests that have to be evaluated against the criteria for exemptions in Art. 5 (1) (a).

The final decision on each exemption, however, will be taken by the relevant EU institutions. From the 20 RoHS exemption requests submitted, only 18 are part of this stakeholder consultation.
